Who – Community

Our world needs the help of the Perelandra College community.

Weapons of mass destruction are are available to people whose sanity we would be foolish to trust. Far too many people in are the captives of  vanity and avarice.. The essential message of Christ, that our peace and salvation will be found through love, is almost universally ignored.

In the words of pastor and writer Erwin McManus, “We need a revival of great storytelling, because whoever tells the best story wins the culture.”

The Perelandra College community exists to assist each other in gaining wisdom, finding inspiration, and using the writers’ craft to pass along what we have learned and received.

We consider as members of our community our students, professors, staff, board members, friends, whomever shares our vision.

You might take a couple minutes to watch and listen to poet Elizabeth Kropf on what the college has meant to her.

Please connect with us on facebook and twitter and subscribe to our blog, which features a church for writers, reflections on writing and the spirit, book reviews, and insights into the art, craft, and life of writing.

Renowned scientist Maria Curie commented, “Humanity also needs dreamers, for whom the disinterested development of an enterprise is so captivating that it becomes impossible for them to devote their care to their own material profit. Without doubt, these dreamers do not deserve wealth, because they do not desire it. Even so, a well-organized society should assure to such workers the efficient means of accomplishing their task, in a life freed from material care…”

Thrift and generous people have allowed us to reduce tuition while other schools consistently raise theirs, so every donation is a blessing to the entire community.
