On Accreditation, The Whole Honest Truth
We’re not inviting you to enroll in one of our degree programs, just to consider a few facts:
What Is Accreditation?
Advantages of an accredited college
Disadvantages of accreditation:
We are not a vocational school. We are a college in the Western liberal arts tradition, devoted to scholarship and unburdened by political considerations, dogmatism, or financial dependence. We adhere to the calling of Christ to win minds and souls, yet the intellectual depth and range of our programs is meant to open minds rather than to close them. We are guided by John 8:31-32, in which Christ assured his listeners, ““If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Our advice: if your purpose for the degree involves qualifying for a certain profession, unless you research and find that accreditation is not an issue in that field, by all means look elsewhere.
However, if you goal is excellent education, wisdom, challenge, a career in ministry, an impressive resume, or to expand the depth and breadth of your intellect, please consider Perelandra College.
Q & A: More straight answers about the value of our programs.
Our Mission: To promote wisdom from a Christ-centered perspective, offering an alternative to dogmatic indoctrination; and to help our students communicate with skill, inspiration, and integrity.
