Master of Arts

Perelandra College offers two MASTER OF ARTS degree options: GREAT CHRISTIAN BOOKS and CHRISTIAN WRITING

The MASTER OF ARTS in GREAT CHRISTIAN BOOKS introduces students to many of history’s most inspired and inspiring thinkers.

Prerequisite: Bachelor of Arts or other approved Bachelor’s degree as well as modest familiarity with the Holy Bible or consent of advisor. 

The degree program requires:

30 total credits to include 15 credits from our Great Books Classes. The other 15 credits may be taken from any Perelandra College or approved transfer classes.

The MASTER OF ARTS in CHRISTIAN WRITING provides students with skills, confidence, and wisdom, preparing them for success as professional writers.

Prerequisite: Bachelor of Arts or other approved Bachelor’s degree as well as submission of an acceptable writing sample. 

The degree program requires 

30 total credits to include 12 credits from our Writing Classes, 6 credits from our Great Books Classes. The other 12 credits may be taken from any Perelandra College or approved transfer classes.

In addition, the degree program requires a novella or chapbook length thesis of quality fiction, non-fiction storytelling, essays, or poetry. The quality will be judged by at least two of our professors.
